Recently Gleam was commissioned by Calleija Jewellers to make a unique display case to house a $500,000+ pink diamond encrusted sculpture destined to go on display in Kensington Palace. The brief included ensuring the case was fit for a queen, with an exquisite but modern look. The case needed to be lightweight to enable transportation to England, and secure so no one could get to the sculpture. The jewelled sculpture was to be concealed within the display case, and at the turn of a key rise up and be illuminated by LED lighting whilst rotating so the entire sculpture could be viewed.

The result, as you can see is magnificent and received much acclaim and coverage in the media, both here and abroad.

The precise and miniature nature of the lifting and rotating mechanisms required expert knowledge and Gleam enlisted the skills of an award winning animatronics expert to handle this aspect of the case. Gleam also handled the Stainless Steel, Glass, Lighting, and of course the magnificent timber work.
